Frequently Asked Questions

How can I use the Hemmo® App?
The Hemmo App is available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store. To get started, simply download the app and create your free Hemmo account. To unlock all features, you’ll need a Center ID provided by your haemophilia treatment center. Don’t have a Center ID? No problem – you can still register as a guest and use many of the app’s core functions.
Why does my haemophilia center need to verify me first?
The Hemmo App offers many helpful features to support your daily routine. To access them, you first need to be identified as a patient. This verification is done through your haemophilia treatment center. It ensures that your doctor knows you created the account and that no one else is accessing your medical information.
How does the verification by my haemophilia center work?
Just like with a banking app, your haemophilia center needs to know who is behind each account. After registering in the Hemmo App and entering your Center ID, your haemophilia center gets notified. Once your identity has been verified, your account will be activated and you’ll have full access to all features.
Where can I find my Center ID?
The Center ID is usually the official BSNR of your haemophilia center. You can find it on most official documents from your center, such as prescriptions. If you can’t locate it, feel free to contact your center directly. If your center does not appear in the app after entering the ID, it may not be active on Hemmo yet.
Please note: Using the Hemmo App is free of charge for both centers and their patients.
My account has been verified by the center, but I still can't log in.
Once your center has verified your account, all features of the Hemmo App will be unlocked.
If you are still unable to log in, please make sure you've confirmed your email address. To do this, simply click the confirmation link we sent you after registration. Didn’t receive the email? It may take a few minutes to arrive and don’t forget to check your spam folder.

My account has been verified and I can log in, but no chat shows up.
After successfully registering, you can log in with your username and password. To activate the chat, you need to select your doctor once. Just open the chat section and choose your doctor. A chat request will then be sent automatically. As soon as your doctor accepts the request, the chat will become available.
Why do I need a password and how can I reset it?
The Hemmo App allows you to communicate securely with your doctor and access personal features that are only meant for you. Just like with a banking app, it's important to protect your data with a password. To prevent misuse, make sure to keep your password safe and confidential.
Forgot your password? No problem. You can easily reset it using your email address. Just click the “Forgot Password” button on the login screen.
